Ensure sales targets are met on a monthly and annual basis
Takes responsibility for developing own knowledge of related disciplines
Maintain your own sales figures so that it is clear how you are performing vs targets at all times.
Professionally manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to prospecting, arranging meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating, closing and handing over to the operations team
Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline and ensure that the pipeline activity is routinely logged, actions and sales process milestones with potential clients and opportunities
Manage all relevant inbound inquiries, understand client requirements and quote accurately on a solution that best suits their needs
Present services to potential clients through telephone calls, emails and both online and face to face meetings
Stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities through market industry and research
Manage and liaise with existing Azacus departments when immersed in added value projects.
Through networking and LinkedIn make contact and develop relationships with potential clients to ensure a regular flow of opportunities.
Monitor competitor activity and pricing
Experience Required
Experience in a business development role with a focus on digital marketing, Pharma Contacts and prior experience working with Pharma
You will be from perhaps a Google or digital marketing agency background
A passion for all things digital
A proven track record in sales.
Analytically minded
Broad industry experience is essential
Pro-active to self-learn about the types of services that Azacus provides such as Consulting, API Sales, Excipient Sales etc.

Lead the team/sub-category in Sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of materials

Areas Of Responsibility :
To ensure Timely Availability of Materials
Ensuring the regular availability of Materials for Global Generics Operations and that they are available in approved condition as per the timelines to support Manufacturing , R& D & Business requirements.
Reviewing & monitoring the supplies/delivery timelines along with the Delivery Planning, Production/Mfg, QC/QA etc to align according to business priorities/expectations.(with the project managers in case of R&D)
Continuous tracking & monitoring the sourcing activities so that timely actions are initiated for order placement, delivery of required materials and to avoid any misses.
Providing Market Intelligence, market information/ changes/ developments etc that would enable right business decisions & building sourcing strategies.
Maintain cost-competitiveness of the products
Conduct & lead the vendor negotiations such that the materials sourced are as per the target prices and maintain throughput of the product.
Preparing & maintaining business cases for each products sourced, mapping competition scenarios, pricing strategies, evaluating & analyzing the market data/competition strategies etc
To maintain a track on the savings targeted for the given fiscal year and taking necessary corrective steps to ensure that the savings target is achieved
Vendor management & relationship building for a long-term benefits
Arrange the required Technical Docs., WS, Impurities, TSE/BSE certificates etc as per the Vendor Qualification/ Re-qualification SOP to enable to comply to changing regulatory/GMP requirements & its expectations time-to-time.
To enter into a long-term supply arrangement with suppliers/vendors wherever feasible that would enable the Co. to obtain better quality/service, firm commitments on availability, vendors commitment to maintain its cost-competitiveness in market.
Supporting QA/QC/RA departments by arranging the documents & information required by them for Audits, deficiency addressable, material/vendor/product approvals etc from respective business partners.
Arranging vendor audits for the respective vendors as per the timelines defined by QA dept.
Develop & Implement long-term Sourcing Strategies
Preparing & maintaining Strategy sheets for each key materials (APIs or Excipients), mapping competition scenarios, pricing strategies, evaluating & analyzing the market data/competition strategies etc in consultation with the Category Heads.
Collect & Analyse Market information, Key competitor analysis thru various possible Market data-intelligence and review Sourcing strategies accordingly seeking relevant/ key information on the pricing/ costing etc to help to derive right-relevant sourcing strategies.
Team building and skills/ leadership development
Team building and developing leadership skills among the team members.
Motivating and helping team members for improving their sourcing skills, enhance their potential, develop improvement in team performance, better effectiveness and higher efficiency.
